1. Agreement to Terms
By creating an account, logging into, or using Khata Money Tracker (referred to as "Khata", "the service", "we", or "our"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not access or use the application.
2. Description of Service
Khata is a personal financial ledger and automation tool designed to help you track income, expenses, and transactions. Khata offers optional automated synchronization of transaction notification emails from supported Nepalese/International banks and digital wallets via Google OAuth read-only API access.
3. Account Registration & Approval
Account creation requires approval by the platform administrator. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and any actions taken under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or behave in an unauthorized manner.
4. Gmail Integration & Acceptable Use
If you opt to connect your Gmail account, you grant Khata read-only access to search and parse emails from specific financial notification senders (e.g., eSewa, FonePay, Citizens Bank, Laxmi Sunrise Bank). You must only connect Gmail accounts that you own and are authorized to use.
5. Disclaimers
Khata is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind. While we make every effort to maintain accurate and reliable email parsing, we do not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of transaction extractions. We are not responsible for any financial decisions or losses incurred based on the data displayed in the app.
